The Ensemble Español presents original Spanish classical ballets, folkloric suites, and fiery Flamenco dramas from a repertoire of over 125 choreographies. In residence at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, the company celebrates Spain in America and promotes cultural pluralism across the nation and internationally. Founded in 1976, the company is now comprised of forty dancers, singers, musicians, and guest artists from both Spain and the U.S.
